FINLAND (2019)

Finland was my first time outside North America, and it is also where my ancestral background comes from. In my day-to-day life, I carry many Finnish traits and ideas regardless of where I am. “Sisu,” or ‘stoic determination & resilience in the face of adversity,’ is one of the most important life skills I’ve been taught, and I thank Finland for it.
